For the very best players NCE Soccer’s Summer Select offering is the ultimate opportunity to maximize potential.

New for 2023, the National Center of Excellence will provide a unique offering for it’s leading youth soccer stars.

It will invite the very best boys and girls to attended as many coaching sessions as they wish.

That means training almost every night of the week at multiple venues if their diary allows – and they can safely navigate the logistics of attending different locations.

Summer Select will only be offered to leading players already within NCE’s COE or College ID Programming.

Those who excel at April tryouts – or earn selection to Select Squads during the Spring – will also have the opportunity to take Summer Select.

Fast Track

“We want to fast track our very best players but we will be hugely strict about the standards,” explained Technical Director Rob Gale.

“We are already extremely particular about accepting players to COE and College ID Programming anyway but this is about opportunities for the very best.

“Our pathway is already pretty clear. We only take very good players, the best of those are selected for Showcase events and the best of those are chosen for international Select events, in Gothia, England, Italy and the like.

“We want those players to maximize their potential and this provides more opportunity for the best players to train together.

“For example, at present, the best players probably only get to train with Select teammates at Showcase events or maybe ahead of the tournaments themselves because they train at different venues.

“This means, providing the logistics allow, they can train more regularly together and that is exciting.”

Summer Select

Players selected for Summer Select will automatically be selected for the International Showcase this summer.

This event is rapidly growing in reputation with teams expected to attend from around the world and a host of top University and College Coaches already confirmed to attend.

The International Showcase is attracting interest from external US clubs wishing to enter numerous teams.

Summer Select players will  also automatically receive our unique Performance Profile providing unparalleled insight.

The Performance Profile allows players to pinpoint weakness they can improved and strengths they can super-strength over five key competencies; Technical, Tactical, Psychological, Social and Physical.

Gale, added; “It is about providing the ultimate set of tools to empower our players to succeed.

“The Performance Profile is a terrific example of this, it provide unparalleled insight and access to very measurable data.

“We have some players who have potential, who may think they are working hard, but they are coasting rather than constantly striving to improve.

“For those players who are serious about having a chance there can be no let up, they have to continue to push and the feedback from the Performance Profile can be crucial.”

Summer Select Players will also receive an automatic invitation to all NCE Soccer Summer Residential Camps AND International Tours during the Summer season – and receive a 10% discount.

The Summer Program will run from June 13th until August 16th and selected players will be receiving their invite over the following days.

Registrations for NCE Soccer’s Spring and Summer Programs are now OPEN.

Players wanting to join the National Center of Excellence can now book their place at tryouts at 18 venues across America.

Tryouts for the COE Program (U9-U14) and College ID Program (U15-U18) will take place in April.
