NCE Soccer is proud to unveil our debut set of excellence scores.
The Excellence Scores are literally our raison d’être, our DNA, our reason for being.
They are designed to recognize, not just excellence in sport, but, excellence in life, in helping to create better people of our players.
Excellence Scores are awarded to all players participating in the NCE Performance Profile Program.
The Performance Profile is a deeply detailed, ongoing assessment of a players ability.
Evaluation
It provides detailed evaluation of a Players Physical, Psychological, Social, Tactical and Technical ability and combines actual testing with a detailed evaluation from our coaches.
But players are also awarded marks for their Academic prowess and Community engagement, two areas crucial for personal development.
NCE Soccer founder John Curtis, said: “The Excellence Scores epitomize what we’re trying to do as an organization, they reflect and embody our ethos.
“We want to produce better soccer players, but we are care passionately about inspiring our players to become better people.
“Nelson Mandela said; ‘Sport has the power to change the world, it has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to the youth in a language they understand’ and that is what we try to do.
“We want our players to become better citizens, to achieve the best academic results they can and to remember to help others.
“We are very lucky that, many of players and their families are committed to helping others.
“We have tried to highlight some of the projects and good causes they support through our website and, we hope, that the Excellence Score will encourage others to get involved.”

To provide players with the opportunity to compete in a professional, player centeredd development environment, supporting personal fulfillment and growth.
To assist teachers, coaches and parents in the personal, athletic and academic development of promising young athletes.
It is only through raising expectations and striving for excellence that our children can reach their full potential
Players signed up to the Performance Profile can access their Excellence Score via the Family Portal.
Over the coming weeks we will provide an insight featuring our Community Champions, our leading scholars, our fastest, most power players and of course, our leading Technical and Tactical players with focus on particular competencies.
