The New England Soccer Journal have tipped NCE Soccer’s Gianna Peracchio and Se-Hanna Mars as future stars.
Journalist Jonathan Sigal highlighted 14 newcomers from across the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) as players to watch for the 2020 program.
And NCE Soccer’s Gothia Cup winning dream duo Gianna Peracchio and Se-Hanna Mars were chosen among his star picks for the 2020 season.
Gianna is joining CFC United for the 2020 Season as well as continuing with NCE Soccer while Se-Hanna is ‘big-time-addition’ for Spartans.
Sigal writes: “After playing for Oakwood’s younger DA teams, Peracchio is joining CFC United and and was part of the NCE team that won a Gothia Cup title last summer.
“Capable of playing center back or holding midfielder, Peracchio’s versatility gives Choate plenty of options.
“They’re one of the region’s top Class A programs, and Peracchio makes them a stronger side.
“Mars represents a big-time addition for the Spartans, an Independent School League program that’s trying to emerge from the second tier.
“Mars now plays for FC Stars in the ECNL, and was a US Club Soccer id2 Training Camp invitee earlier this year. She used to play for Oakwood DA, and is considered a high-end Class of 2024 forward.”
NCE Soccer Technical Director John Curtis agrees wholeheartedly with the New England Soccer Journal’s report and says the pair have what it takes to make it to the top.
He said: “Se-Hanna was the MVP at the Gothia Cup and is a huge talent with enormous potential.
“Gianna epitomises effort and work rate. her development over the last two years has been phenomenal, most due to persistence and determination.
“She is a top class performance and was a part of our 2019 Gothia Cup winning squad. She is a great player.”
