The NCE Foundation is making the necessary steps to drive change in the US Youth Soccer Landscape.
The Foundation was created to support NCE’s mission of providing opportunities for players to fulfill their potential.
It will provide a platform, immune to political influence, to help youngsters in the United States and internationally overcome financial obstacles in youth soccer.
NCE Soccer founder John Curtis, said: “We all know the youth soccer system in the US is overly complex, mired in politics and unnecessarily expensive. We’re on a mission to help players successfully navigate this landscape to successful outcomes. The Foundation provides the support necessary for us to do this.
“Our whole ethos at NCE is to use the power of sport to positively influence young people. We operate in a vacuum, removed from the current system and protected from the negative side effects. Players however spend the majority of their time swimming against the constraints the system imposes.
“We intend to use our Foundation to combat these constraints and drive positive change. It’s very clear to me, that only a truly neutral organization like NCE, can offer the type of meaningful change that is necessary to help the players succeed.
“Its an enormous obstacle, but it’s one we are determined to tackle.
“We soft-launched the Foundation ahead of our trip to Brazil earlier this year and travelled with equipment, boots, balls and kit to support a favela called Vila Aliança in Rio de Janeiro. It was a very proud moment for us and started our charitable efforts.”
“Now we’re ready to take the next steps and begin the challenge of changing the US youth soccer landscape.
“We operate in the two biggest markets in the US and we’ll be garnering support from friends and families of NCE, some of whom are incredible influential in the world of business and sport.
“I know there are people in our network who, like us, are incredibly passionate about the power of sport and the positive influence it can have on a child’s life. We’re seeking champions for our cause, individuals who can help us make a real difference to how soccer operates in this country.”
The NCE Foundation will host official fundraising events and will be hoping to invite sponsors to support our initiatives.
Parents signing up for NCE programming will also be invited to add a small donation directly to the charity. We urge those families who can afford to help, to include the NCE Foundation as one of their charities of choice.
“We pledge to use all financial donations to support worthwhile projects at home and abroad to provide education, better facilities, apparel, equipment and training opportunities,” John added.
Look out for exciting announcements coming soon about how the NCE Foundation is going to positively impact the youth soccer landscape.
