It’s almost time – but it’s still not too late to join NCE Soccer’s Fall program!

The Fall season officially kicks-off this Friday for some lucky players – with two venues in New York and New England simultaneously signalling the beginning of a brand new coaching season.

Hundreds of talented youngsters will attend our Zone 1, COE and goalkeeping coaching programs – all in a Covid-19 compliant way – over the course of the next few weeks.

Union Point Sports Complex in Weymouth, MA and St. Josephs College in Patchogue, NY will host the official launch of our Fall season on Friday with other venues due to begin programming in the following days and weeks.

Try-outs for Center Of Excellence programs across the NCE Soccer regions in New England, New York Metro and the North Atlantic, are rapidly filling but there are spaces still available.

Covid Secure

NCE Soccer Technical Director John Curtis, said: “It’s not been easy trying to organise given the Covid situation but we have got there and we can’t wait to get back onto the field.

“We have worked closely with all of the venues to ensure that our children, their parents and of course, our staff are able to resume the program whilst keeping everyone safe.

“Individual venues have their own Covid-19 protocols, which include hand sanitiser, temperate testing and reduced numbers but we are taking the situation very seriously.

“We will be enforcing social distancing, our coaches will wear masks, we have additional sanitiser stations and our equipment is sanitised and cleaned.

“We’ve also banned shaking hands, fist pumps or high fives between players, to help them remain apart and all our work, including staff meetings and coaching clinics are held ‘virtually’ to keep everyone safe.

“Now we just can’t wait to get going, and get back to some sort of normality, and continue to help our talented young soccer players to develop.”

Quality

NCE Soccer have been inundated with enquires from soccer players in the three regions but remain determined to keep the quality level high – and so will restrict numbers.

Zone 1, for players aged between 7-10-years-of age is more inclusive with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment, but the COE program is invite only and players must either be pre-selected by coaches, or selected following tryouts.

COE Tryouts will be held across all three regions – New York Metro, New England and the North Atlantic – at dates between September 11 and September 25th for both outfield and goalkeeping programs.

It is not too late to sign up to tryouts – and those still interested should see the dates and venues below and sign-up to the venue closest to them.

Curtis, added: “We have an amazing following and the interest in the tryouts and soccer programs is always incredible. It is always very humbling to hear how we are perceived by others.

“It also means that the levels, the standards set by our players, improves year-on-year, and that means only the very best get selected.

Standards

“It would be very easy as a business to just accept everyone, and play the numbers game but that is not what we are about. We care, we are driven to make each individual player better and we can only do that if standards are high and groups are restricted in numbers.

“We want excellence, we want to inspire the best young players and so that means, the more that apply to tryout, the higher the quality.

“This Fall has been restricted, mainly by the Covid restrictions and we have been unable to offer coaching programs in the Mid-Atlantic region but we have added North Atlantic and Scott Middlemass, a coach with a terrific reputations joined us to run the NCE Soccer program in that region.

“The New England venues have attracted a lot of interest but there still places available for those who have been watching and waiting to see how the Covid-19 issues plays out.

The NCE Soccer Fall programs run from this Friday until November.
