The NCE Defending Clinic at Queens College is focused on developing smart, tough, and confident defenders. In this single, high-intensity session, players will work on 1v1 defending, positioning, tackling, and decision-making under pressure. Led by NCE’s experienced coaching staff, the clinic uses game-like scenarios to challenge defenders and improve their timing, awareness, and ability to win the ball cleanly. It’s a great opportunity for players to sharpen their defensive instincts and build confidence in key moments at the back.

NCE Player Number
- To help support player identification in our select events, we utilize a player numbering system.
- Every player selected for a Center of Excellence or College Pathway program will be assigned a special NCE Player Number. Players cannot request a number.
- After registering, you can find your player's number listed in their details in your NCE Family Account, and instructions on ordering your player's uniform will be found there.
- This number will remain with the player for their entire time with NCE and will not change from season to season or year to year. The only exception is if the player does not register for an NCE event for 2 years, their number will be reassigned.

Training Program Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds or credits for our training programs. Upon receipt of payment and confirmation of enrollment, all fees are considered non-refundable under any circumstances. In the event a player is unable to attend a scheduled session, arrangements can be made to attend a make-up session at another training program venue. Should NCE sessions be suspended prior to the completion of the term, and less than 50% of the scheduled sessions have been conducted, a credit will be issued to enrolled participants. The credit amount will be equivalent to the number of remaining sessions, less a $120 administrative fee. Issued credits may be applied towards future NCE programs. Injured participants unable to complete a program may be eligible for a credit for missed sessions, less a $120 administrative fee.
