London is calling for NCE Soccer’s Pro Academy Tour 2024.

Fresh for 2024, NCE Soccer will fly into Englands capital to prepare for the annual Academy Tournament against some of the world’s top teams.

This year the tournament will be hosted at two venues, with the boys returning to Oakham School and the Girls heading for Haileybury School in Hertfordshire.

Before the 2024 event, the traveling players will be invited to attend a pre-tournament training camp at Stony Brook University, specifically to prepare for the competition.

“We select the best players in each respective age group from around the regions and, this means sometimes they haven’t even met until we travel.

“So this year we will host a four-night residential camp specifically for each touring group, so the players get a chance to bond, become a team, and work with their coach.

“It allows us to work on shape, develop tactics both in the classroom and on the field to prepare professionally for the tournament.

“Then when we travel we will stay in London and work for three days at professional Academies to really focus on the challenge ahead.”

Six NCE Soccer Squads will compete over four consecutive weeks – and this year they will all start their week with three days tournament preparation in London.

“This is a terrific tournament for our players but we want to give them their best chance of success with proper preparation,” explained Founder John Curtis.

“We know we have good players and they always give a great showing but they are playing against teams that train and play together every week.

The teams will stay in London and train at a top Academies ahead of the competition, training with professional coaches and playing warm-up games.

The Pro Academy Tour allows players to live as professional academy players for a week of intense work.

This year they will use  professional academies working with club coaches and NCE Soccer coaches to prepare for the tournament.

They will play warm-up games ahead of traveling North and also enjoy sight seeing tours in and around the capital.

“We will enjoy some sight seeing but the focus is the tournament and our preparation,” John added.

“The tournament attracts the very best teams in England and from around the world. In the past we have played against Manchester United, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and many more.

“The players will expect to play ten games or so over three very intense days of competition in a terrific setting, staying and training on site as a team, living life as an Academy player.

“And we aren’t just there for the experience, we want our players to enjoy themselves but to show they can compete against the very best.”

NCE Soccer will also be hosting a Supporters Tour with parents, siblings and friends invited to travel with the team to enjoy the experience.

The traveling supporters will be allowed to watch training and have access to matches or are free to opt-in and out as they choose.

And there are limited options for supporters to enjoy the trip as chaperones working with NCE Staff and staying on site at either School.

Selected players will be receiving invitations via email and / or the Family Portal over the coming days so check your inbox and respond. Places will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.
