Being selected for the USWNT U18/19 training camp was an unforgettable experience and a true milestone in my soccer journey. It was an incredible honor to be chosen as one of the top players in the nation, and having the opportunity to wear the U.S. crest was something I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by an elite environment — from the intensity of the sessions to the professionalism and support of the coaching staff. The level of play was unmatched, and training alongside some of the best players in the country pushed me to raise my game every single day. The coaches were not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely invested in our growth as players and individuals. They challenged us to think faster, play smarter, and compete at the highest standard. Being part of this camp has left a lasting impact on me. It gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to play at the national level and further fueled my passion and determination to keep working towards my goals. I am truly grateful for the experience, the lessons I learned, and the chance to be part of something so special.

Here’s what her mother, Michelle, had to say about her developmental experience with NCE.
Lily has shown exceptional growth as an player since joining NCE. As a smaller player, her quick feet and agility allow her to navigate tight spaces with creativity, intelligence, and a fearless approach to the game. She’s a crafty, technical player who excels in tight spaces, using quick turns, sharp movement, and excellent vision to unlock defenses. One of Lily’s standout qualities is her ability to deliver precise, incisive passes that create real chances for her teammates- she consistently connects the midfield to the attack with speed and purpose. Beyond her technical skills, Lily has also developed into a natural leader on the field. She communicates effectively, leads by example, and brings a calm, composed presence in high-pressure moments. Her time at NCE has not only elevated her game technically and tactically, but also helped her grow into a confident, creative playmaker who consistently makes a positive impact.
Looking Ahead:
Lily’s hard work and commitment to her development process are incredible tools that will continue to push her further in her soccer career. In our conversation with her about this opportunity, she also was sure to thank those in her life who have made her dreams of playing college soccer and representing the USWNT crest.
The player I am today is a direct result of the guidance, dedication, and support I have received from those around me. My coaches at New York Soccer Club have been instrumental in my development, consistently pushing me to improve and helping me grow as a player and teammate. Through focused technical and tactical training, as well as strength and agility work, my trainers have helped me build the foundation I need to perform at a high level. Their attention to detail and belief in my potential have made a lasting impact on my game. Most importantly, I am deeply thankful to my family for their unwavering support. From countless hours spent driving to practices, and games to the constant encouragement they have given me. They have made it possible for me to pursue my goals and dreams with confidence and determination.
Looking forward, we at NCE are excited keep up with Lily’s journey at Boston College and beyond.
