Winter Invitational Series

The Winter Invitational Series involves ‘selected’ players from across all NCE Soccer regions.

There are three Winter Invitationals played at Superdome Sports in Waldwick, NJ (Dec 17, 2022) and Danbury Sports in Danbury, CT (Jan 7th, 2023 & Feb 4th, 2023)

The tournaments feature both boys and girls teams playing across six age categories with players selected to represent their region based on their performances throughout NCE Soccer Programming.

Scouts from a host of top Colleges and Universities are expected to attend to watch as each team in each age category play 4  x 25 minute games in a 7-v-7 format.

Game Times & Schedules

  • 9AM – 1PM: 2012/13s & 2011s
  • 1PM – 5PM: 2010 & 2009
  • 5PM – 9PM: 2008 & 2007/06s

Player Information

Players attending the Winter Invitational are expected to bring:

  • Full black NCE Uniform
  • White NCE Tournament Jersey
  • Shin Guards
  • Water Bottle

White NCE Tournament Jersey is essential and can be purchased from the NCE Store.

Players should add their name and squad number. The White Tournament Jersey is listed under the recommended tab.

Game Day 1: Saturday Dec 17th, 2022

Superdome Sports host the first Winter Invitational Tournament.

This is one of the best training facilities in New Jersey and Southern New York and provides a full sided football field of indoor weather protected turf.

Their indoor facility features 80 foot ceiling heights with no columns or walls and state-of-the-art climate controlled venues and plenty of room for spectators to watch the days soccer.

Danbury Sports Dome is an indoor state-of-the-art soccer facility in Danbury, CT, is the largest domed soccer field on the East Coast and provides ultimate year-round temperature-controlled environment.

Game Day 3 – Saturday Feb 4th, 2023

Danbury Sports hosts the third and final Winter Invitational.

The finale provides players with the opportunity to underline their skills or maybe make up for earlier disappointment with one last hurrah in CT.

The facility is perfect for tournament soccer with lots of rooms for spectators as we prepare for 12 hours of competitive soccer.
